Learn to Grow Sakata’s, Sweet Melon
Instructions – Melons love the heat. Sow seeds outdoors in 12″ diameter hills after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Space hills 6′ apart in all directions. Seeds will germinate in 4-10 days. Can also be started indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost.
Planting:
- Spacing: Plant seeds 1 inch deep, 18-24 inches apart in hills that are 4-6 feet apart.
- Sunlight: They require full sun.
